PRE-CARE AND POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Microneedling with Exosomes
Two Weeks Prior to Treatment
-
Sun Protection: Avoid prolonged UV exposure. Treatment cannot be performed on tanned, sunburned, or compromised skin.
-
No Self-Tanners: Discontinue the use of self-tanning lotions or sprays on the target area.
-
Aesthetic Procedures: Refrain from microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser treatments, or other microneedling sessions within 14 days of your appointment.

Three Days Prior to Treatment
-
Pause Irritants: Stop using topical products that may sensitize the skin.
-
Active Ingredients: Discontinue use of Retinoids (Retinol, Tretinoin), Alpha/Beta Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic, Salicylic), Vitamin C serums, or physical scrubs.

Day of Treatment
-
Skin Preparation: Cleanse the treatment area thoroughly. Do not apply lotions, oils, powders, or perfumes.
-
Face & Neck: Arrive with a clean face, free of makeup. If you have long hair, please bring a tie to keep it away from the treatment zone.

What Can Be Expected?
-
Immediate Sensation: You may experience a sensation similar to a moderate sunburn; skin often feels warm, tight, and looks flushed.
-
Texture Changes: For 1–5 days post-treatment, skin may feel dry, appear pink, and undergo light flaking or peeling.
-
Cosmetic Gap: NO MAKEUP should be applied for at least 48 hours to allow micro-channels to close.

Post-Treatment Care
-
CLEAN: Wait at least 4–6 hours before washing your face to allow topicals (PRP/Exosomes) to absorb. Use a gentle, non-foaming cleanser and lukewarm water. Always wash your hands before touching your face.
-
HYDRATE: Apply a healing ointment (like Aquaphor) or a recovery balm for the first 48 hours. Follow with a clinical-grade moisturizer until the skin is fully repaired.
-
MAKEUP: You may resume makeup application after 48 hours. Ensure all brushes and sponges are deep-cleaned before use.
-
PROTECT: Starting 24 hours post-procedure, apply a broad-spectrum Physical Sunscreen (Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide) with at least SPF 30 daily. Avoid chemical filters until the skin has finished peeling.

What to Avoid
To ensure optimal healing and results, please observe the following:
-
Active Skincare: Do NOT use Retinols, Vitamin C, or Acid-based exfoliants for at least 7 days post-treatment.
-
UV Exposure: Avoid direct sunlight for two weeks. Tanning beds are strictly prohibited for 30 days.
-
Water & Heat: No swimming in pools, lakes, or oceans for 48 hours.
-
Activity: Avoid strenuous exercise or heavy sweating for 48 hours. Gym environments contain bacteria that can cause adverse reactions in open micro-channels.
