Preparing your skin correctly and following proper aftercare is essential to maximize the results of your HydraFacial in Shreveport, LA. At Dixi’s Medispa, we provide clear guidelines to ensure your treatment is safe, effective, and delivers a long-lasting glow.
Two Weeks Prior to Your HydraFacial

Sun Protection: Avoid excessive sun exposure. Treatments should not be performed on sunburned or heavily tanned skin.

No Self-Tanners: Discontinue the use of self-tanning products to ensure even treatment results.

Avoid Aggressive Treatments: Refrain from chemical peels, laser treatments, or other intensive facial procedures at least 10–14 days before your appointment.
Three Days Prior to Your HydraFacial

Pause Active Ingredients: Stop using Retinol, Tretinoin, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Vitamin C.

Avoid Exfoliation: Do not use scrubs or any products that may irritate or sensitize the skin.
Day of Treatment

Clean Skin Only: Arrive with a clean face—no makeup, oils, or lotions.

Minimal Products: Avoid applying perfumes or heavy skincare products on the treatment area.
What to Expect After a HydraFacial

What to Avoid After HydraFacial
